OVERSEAS SALES • Additional Payment Options: For the convenience of our European customers we are pleased to also accept Euros. • Shipping Rates: We will weigh your order and calculate the best Airmail shipping rate for you. If you prefer Surface (slower, but less expensive in most cases), please let us know at the time that you place your order. Surface shipments can sometimes take a very, very long time to arrive - Airmail is almost always a better bet. • Restricted Items: 1. Political Restrictions: Certain countries have declared any materials from the Third Reich to be contraband. These items are perfectly legal in the United States, and we are bound by no shipping restrictions. We are glad to ship these items ANYWHERE. We have no sympathy or allegiance for the Nazis, Communists, Leftists, Anarchists, Socialists, or any other such offensive group. We respect and comply with U.S. law, but when we last checked, we were not residents of France, Germany, Austria, or Italy and are not bound by their regulations. If your country has decided that it is afraid of its citizens who wish to collect harmless historic items, then that is between you and your government. If you wish to purchase these items from us, we will gladly ship them to you. Be aware, though, that you risk confiscation of your items if they are opened by officials of your or postal service. If items are stolen from you by your government, we are not responsible. 2. Practical Restrictions: In most cases Firearms cannot be shipped overseas. We are sorry, but this must be properly observed. 3. Protected Items: Every country has an ever-changing list of items which are banned from importation for certain trade reasons. Italy, for example, restricts the importation of leather to protect firms such as Gucci. Sometimes an overzealous customs official will reject a WWI leather cartridge pouch – not much threat to Gucci, to be sure, but it is leather... If a parcel is opened and rejected for some insane reason, it will eventually be returned to us. When it arrives, we will contact you. At that time we will be glad to ship it again. Unfortunately this extra shipping cost is also yours. Don’t worry, this does not happen often. • Insurance & Customs Declaration Forms: Unless you submit specific instructions otherwise, we insure overseas parcels for their exact value. If they go missing, this protects you from loss. By U.S. Postal Regulations, a parcel cannot be insured for one amount, and then listed for a lesser amount on the customs value declaration form. Many customers request that their parcels be sent without insurance or with a low value on insurance to protect against high tariffs in their country. If that is your wish, you must specifically advise us of this at the time that you pay for your order under ‘special shipping instructions’. We will do this for you, but it is at your own risk – if an uninsured or under-insured parcel is lost, AGM is not responsible. • Cash Payments: Sending currency in the mail is always a bad idea. Some customers without credit cards prefer to do this, however. If you feel that this is the only option that will work for you, please make sure you send your letter via registered mail. AGM is not responsible for cash payments lost in the mail.
